The Crystal Creek Hall hires a Janitor to check in following each function, the hall has to be left in a rentable condition. If the hall is not left in this rentable state, she will charge by the hour to ensure the next renter has a clean facility. This invoice is given to our treasurer. Your damage deposit will be reduced by this amount, with a copy of her bill attached to our cheque, for the damage deposit refund

 

  • Signs are posted with directions for cleaning the facility.
  • Renters must remove all garbage from the hall, there are three extra garbage bags in the bottom of each garbage can at the hall.
  • Cigarette butts from the smoking stands outside must be picked out and put in the garbage, not on the grounds outside.
  • Renters must remove all liquor, empty bottles, cans, wedding gifts, food etc. by that rental evening.
  • It is the Renters responsibility to ensure that the kitchen is clean, this includes the stove/oven. A $25.00 fee will be charged if the oven has to be cleaned.
  • The renter is responsible for damage to the grounds as well as the building.
  • There will be an additional charge for cleaning of the grounds, if garbage or fire wood is left.
  • Candles may be used, please ensure that all wax and residue is removed from the tables.
  • Floor brooms, floor mops and mop bucket is supplied to clean floor.
  • Please do not dump the mop bucket water (dirty floor water down the kitchen sink) please dump it outside the west door, as it will plug the kitchen sink drain.
  • Floor and dish detergent are supplied under the kitchen sink, there is paper toweling in the bathrooms supplied.

Due to difficult experiences in the past with cleaning and waxing of the floor because of the use of confetti, colorful sprinkles or metallic sprinkles, please bring your own vacuum to ensure that it is all cleaned up or there will be a charge by the janitor for the length of time it takes her to vacuum them up.


Candles may be used, please ensure that all wax and residue is removed from the tables.

If you are decorating please bring all required supplies with you, including ladders. Please take all of your beautiful decorations home with you, as most times they do not match the next function and a further charge will be issued to clean these.
